When companies encounter challenges in paying for workforce training, the State of West Virginia offers the governor’s guaranteed workforce training program. This program can reimburse up to 50 percent of training costs or up to $2,000 per course per trainee. Examples of covered trainings include: Equipment operation, Information Technology, internal, management/leadership, quality, safety, technical skills, and train-the-trainer.
