PCDA President Named as Of the "Who's Who in West Virginia Business" Winners

PCDA President Richard L. Slater CPA, managing member of Dixon Hughes, PLLC was named as a winner in the Who’s Who in West Virginia Business by the State Journal newspaper.
Slater has served for the past two years as president of the development authority’s board of directors. He also serves as vice chairman of the West Virginia Economic Development Authority, Slater is one member of a Board of Directors that oversees state loans to business people across the state to spur commercial and industrial development. Governor Manchin also appointed him as a commissioner of the West Virginia Industrial Council and the West Virginia Pension Bond Advisory Commission.
Other honors and appointments include chairman of the Competitiveness Task Force for West Virginia Roundtable Inc.; chairman of Project IGNITE; a board member for West Virginia Golf Charities; president of Energy Village; chairman of tax modernization and finance development for Vision Shared; a member of the WVU Accounting Advisory Board; and a member of the Board of Directors for the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra.
